There is an effortless glamour and a timeless allure of Parisian chic. To have the opportunity to live immersed in such style in the midst of Oregon's refined, yet rugged, lush

Every detail of this 3876 sf, 4 bed, 3 bath Urban French Provincial farm house sitting on 1.12 breathtaking acres transports you straight to that indefinable je ne sais quoi that initially seems so elusive, and yet at the same time almost appears simple, uncontrived, perhaps effortless.

Starting with the bright, white, magical, enormous, beauty of the kitchen designed by a master chef...

...the attention to every detail contained within the high 12' ceilings on both floors is carried throughout the home

And I'm a sucker for details! I fell in love with the high-end hardware and lighting...both artificial and seasonal sunlight angles that give maximum interior lumens.

I could easily live out my days happily ever after with all of this AND bedrooms and bathrooms to die for...

Me and a book...cozied up in front of the massive Napoleon high end efficient fireplace...YES, PLEASE!

I don't question for one second WHY it was featured in Style Me Pretty and as a premier location for Southern Oregon's first Pottery Barn holiday event.

Even with all this Old World charm, it is wired for the latest in technology. This would make my hubby and kids beyond happy!

And while I would never tire of peering through the endless windows across 10,000+ sq ft of beautifully irrigated lawn and various raised garden beds...

...I'd HAVE to get outside! How could I not?! There's a mini 40-plant vineyard, 60+ fruit and ornamental trees and a seasonal creek...not to mention 30-plus miles of hiking, biking, running and horseback riding trails. This particular property has direct access to over half of them and there is plenty of variety for all skill levels (strenuous activity for my "in shape" family and friends, leisurely walks for the pooch and me). Perfect.

Being a part of the historic 1850s gold rush town of Jacksonville is a really big BONUS. Sunset Magazine and other travel magazines have featured it numerous times throughout the years. Conveniently located close to the house are dozens of 4+ star Trip Advisor-rated restaurants.

During the summer, Britt Festivals brings an outdoor summer music and performing arts festival to Jacksonville featuring world class artists in jazz, folk, country, pop, dance and classical music. Britt's intimate performance venue is a naturally formed amphitheater set among majestic ponderosa pines and native madrones on the beautiful hillside estate of 19th century photographer Peter Britt. It really doesn't get any better.

I don't drink but I know that my family and friend enjoy the fact that the surrounding wine country is up and coming with local wineries that have been highly rated. A recent Sunset Magazine article called the region "the undiscovered Oregon wine country of your dreams." The diversity and quality of varietals in southern Oregon has attracted talent from the Loire and Napa Valleys, as well as prominent critics, who have begun handing out high scores and accolades (Forbes Magazine,
San Francisco Chronicle, Sunset and others). The field is blossoming. Ten years ago, there were 49 wineries in southern Oregon, today there are more than 150.

What I appreciate most is the world class fishing, golfing, snow sports, whitewater rafting/kayaking and the adventure sports that are within minutes of anywhere in the valley — it's affordable and there aren't hoards of people to navigate.

If I didn't already live in my dream home, I'd be on this one in a heartbeat.
